This charming restaurant invites you into a warm and friendly ambiance, making it the ideal spot for those seeking authentic Italian comfort food. Le Cotolette is renowned for its namesake dish, the Cotolette, which captures the heart of traditional Milanese cuisine. Customers rave about the generous portions—perfect for sharing and truly a feast for the senses. With basic Cotolette starting at an impressive 10€, diners can indulge even more by adding sides like the exquisite Risotto alla Milanese for just 4€. The flavors come alive with creative “toppings” available, and the weekend prices reflect only a small increase—up to 15€ for the basic Cotolette, which is still a fantastic value for such a rich culinary experience.
Patrons have expressed delight over dishes such as the osso buco paired with saffron rice, which exemplifies the restaurant’s commitment to quality and taste. One customer, Toni Wasinger, enjoyed a truly memorable afternoon on the terrace, emphasizing the generous serving size and the delightful, self-made dessert options, including a charming airy meringue and caramel cream.
Service at Le Cotolette is consistently highlighted in reviews. Friendly waitstaff, like the attentive server noted by Sophie Sours, create a welcoming atmosphere that only enhances the overall dining experience. Whether you are savoring the tirolese Cotolette with grilled vegetables or delighting in crispy, juicy perfection, you’ll find that the attentive service adds a personal touch to each meal.

I ordered an osso buco with saffron rice for lunch on the terrace. I really enjoyed the large portion. (20€) For dessert, an airy merengue/caramel cream (4€). Self-made! They even bake the crusty bread themselves! Gladly again.

Ordered the tirolese, it was very good only a bit dry. The service was amazing, the lady who served us was very nice and attentive, also the area is fairly calm and comfortable.

This is a MUST while in Milano. The best Cotolette you can try. The basic Cotolette starts at 10€ with the option to add Risotto alla Milanese (+4€). Then, there are other “toppings” and complements you can add to the Cotolette. During Weekends, prices increase up to 15€ the basic Cotolette. I’d recommend to try the Tirolese Cotolette with Risotto and Grilled Vegetables. (See picture, price starts from 17€ +4€ on Sundays) IMPORTANT: Dishes are GENEROUS, so it’s perfect to share if you wish. In the attached picture, you can see they separate the food from the kitchen already.

The cotolette are pretty big and pretty good but not amazing. I like the options you can chose for toppings, it adds some flavor to it
